We are exploring a pilot concept designed to support guests who travel with their own electric bikes or electric scooters β but cannot bring their batteries on airplanes.
The idea (pilot stage)
Many travelers today own foldable e-bikes or compact electric scooters and prefer to use their own vehicle when staying in a city.
Airline restrictions often prevent these travelers from flying with lithium batteries, even when the bike or scooter itself can be checked as luggage.
Battery on Arrival is exploring a simple idea:
- Guests travel with their own e-bike or scooter (without battery)
- A compatible battery is made available locally during their stay
- The guest returns the battery at checkout
This is an exploratory pilot concept. No commercial program is active at this time.
